This update includes key bug fixes, improvements to job and task management, and new features for better workflow customization.
Fixes
Improvements & Fixes:
- Job & Task Management:
- Added support for assigning bin/location details to parts at the job level.
- Task Report now displays shop part information when clicking on a line, allowing estimated hours and pricing updates.
- Fee/discount items can now be set to automatically apply to all new jobs.
- Work Order View now displays total hours at the top, which filters based on the selected date range.
- Jobs copied to a new customer now retain the original work order sort order.
- Deleted tasks no longer appear when moving parts to a different task.
- Creating a new task with multiple subtasks now functions correctly.
- Multiple new parts can now be added to a new task without triggering "part already exists" errors.
- Reports & Printing:
- Employee Service Report now correctly displays customer names on all tasks.
- Added a print button for the table view of the Time Clock Report.
- Customer Portal & QuickBooks Integration:
- Fixed an issue where the "Show Tasks" checkbox was not working on the customer portal’s job search screen.
- Customer addresses now correctly export to QuickBooks.
- Invoice save button on the Invoice History page now works even when not connected to QuickBooks.
- A shop task setting for "Show on Work Order" now properly saves.
- Tax & Billing Fixes:
- Changing a customer’s tax-exempt status now updates existing jobs accordingly.
- Mobile & Barcode Scanning:
- Fixed an issue where an iOS update caused barcode scanning camera settings to stop working.
These updates improve job tracking, reporting, and customer portal functionality while addressing key bug fixes to enhance system reliability.
