This update brings key improvements to job management, mobile usability, and time tracking, plus a new Website Contact Form Integration feature. Now, customers can submit their info directly from your website, and their inquiries will appear in your shop’s chat window—making it easier than ever to turn leads into jobs. Fixes
New Feature:
- Website Contact Form Integration – Add a “Contact Us” form to your website that allows customers to submit their info and work requests. These inquiries will appear in your shop's chat window, where you can respond and convert them into estimates or jobs. To enable, go to Shop > Tags in MSA, copy the provided HTML script, and embed it on your site.
Improvements & Fixes:
- Job Management & Reports:
- Print function fixed for Jobs Report.
- Work Order print preview now correctly displays customer part numbers.
- "Copy to New Customer" no longer transfers vehicle mileage.
- Pinned tasks now properly stay at the top of a job.
- Task addition in estimates now mirrors the in-job task form for easier part assignment.
- The “Show Estimated Hours on Work Order” setting now properly applies to jobs.
- Mobile Experience Enhancements:
- Calendar and Job View layouts improved for better usability.
- Settings panel on job pages is now hidden in mobile view for a cleaner display.
- Signature capture now handles screen rotation correctly.
- Photos now display download and delete buttons above the page fold.
- Permissions & Time Tracking:
- Technicians can now view all time entries on a task via a slide-in panel by clicking the time. Editing remains restricted based on permissions.
- Permissions added to control access to wholesale pricing separately from retail pricing.
- Time Clock Report improvements:
- Editing a single-day entry no longer requires clicking the date field.
- Users can now add open-ended time entries.
- Scheduling & Checklists:
- Fixed issues with checklist items missing names causing display problems.
- Improved warnings when scheduling jobs on employees’ days off.
- Billing & QuickBooks:
- Fixed Stripe-related billing issues.
- Adjusted QuickBooks functionality to better manage tasks and parts when switching between existing entries.
